The New HubSpot App Ties Adwords Campaigns to the Bottom Line

Daily Disruption

If you manage an AdWords campaign you already know how frustrating it can be to move between HubSpot and AdWords interface to see the data.  None of your AdWords ad expenditure is in Hubspot, and all your leads and sales information is missing in AdWords.  Not anymore!

The inbound marketing experts at HubSpot have released a new app within its app marketplace that aims to drastically simplify the process of monitoring and evaluating paid search campaigns. Developed by Website Publicity, the Google Adwords Dashboard gives users a complete view of the effectiveness of their Adwords Campaigns from click-through rate to conversion to customer acquisition.

Using all your current HubSpot landing pages, as well as your leads generated and nurtured in the HubSpot system, the app brings in the costs associated with these from AdWords and link them together.  Important highlights:

One interface to find what Google AdWords campaign and ad groups
  are driving leads.
The ability to track your costs to what ad groups are driving sales too. When
a lead is closed in the HubSpot tools, this app will show you where that lead
  first came from.
You don’t have to use multiple tracking codes on your landing pages
to track in Google, just use your HubSpot leads.
Free trial for 30 days with no credit card on file. Simply try it
out to see how easy it makes tracking success, and trimming away waste.
Once you find how well the app saves you time and money, it costs
  only $25.00/month.

The Google Adwords Dashboard is available for purchase to Professional and Enterprise customers as part of HubSpot’s App Marketplace, an effort by HubSpot to tap into the ever-growing potential of integrations and third-party applications.  By bringing all of these tools and apps together, HubSpot aims to create a central place where marketers can access everything they need to make smarter marketing decisions, attract and convert quality leads and evaluate their ROI.

HubSpot says they welcome all developers interested in working in this marketplace.  Developers can get involved by joining their discussion group at http://groups.google.com/group/hubspot-api .  According to a company blog post, the group is open to public and free, does not require a HubSpot account, and is filled with other developers happy to help out.
