Dan Zarella, HubSpot’s social media scientist, has created an infographic on how to increase the click through rate (CTR) on tweets.

Using research he has carried out into the subject, Zarella calculated CTR as the number of clicks on a tweeted link divided by the number of followers the account had when it was tweeted.

He looks at the best length for tweets, the best times to get click throughs and the best words or phrases to use.
