Empirix, a major player of service quality assurance solutions for new IP communications, has announced that its OneSight monitoring solutions have been rated Avaya Compliant.
Officials with Empirix (News - Alert) said that the OneSight solution set helps businesses emulate realistic end-user behavior, allowing companies to assure the best voice quality and system health over the network, thereby strengthening their overall unified communications (UC) strategy.
“Achieving Avaya compliance with our OneSight solution set presents a number of opportunities for Avaya customers,” said Tim Moynihan (News - Alert), vice president of marketing, Empirix, in a statement.
Moynihan said that in a time when the evolution of the contact center can make or break a business, it is of the utmost importance for customers to achieve best voice quality and understand the overall health of their networks.
Moynihan pointed out that the OneSight solution does just that, and now as a compatible solution with the Avaya (News - Alert) Aura Communication Manager and Avaya Proactive Contact Dialer, customers are offered a cost-effective solution to enhance their UC strategies.
Company officials said that as a platinum member of DevConnect (News - Alert) program Empirix is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution and InteroperabilityTest Lab, where a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant.
“Development partners like Empirix are helping Avaya meet customer needs in the contact center,” said Eric Rossman (News - Alert), vice president, developer relations of Avaya.
Rossman said that interoperability is an important factor in customer satisfaction, and Avaya and Empirix are both committed to enhancing the customer experience.

TMCnet in November reported that Amtrak, America’s nationwide passenger railroad, selected the Empirix OneSight Voice Quality Assurance solution to consistently monitor Amtrak’s traditional voice network to identify and prevent voice quality issues before they negatively impact the customer.
