Crossbeam Appoints Phillip Dunkelberger to Its Board of Directors

Former PGP Corporation CEO and Leading Cyber Security Authority to Assist Crossbeam Through Next Stage of Company Growth

Crossbeam Systems, Inc., the leading provider of next-generation security platforms for high-performance networks, today announced the appointment of Phillip Dunkelberger to its board of directors.

Dunkelberger is currently the CEO of LNR Consulting. He is also involved in several security task force and advisory councils – he serves on the TechNet CEO Cybersecurity Task Force, he is a founding board member of the Cyber Security Industry Alliance (CSIA), and is chairman of the Cybersecurity CxO Council within TechAmerica. Prior to LNR, Dunkelberger was president and CEO of PGP Corporation (acquired by Symantec). Previously in his career, he was the COO of Vantive Corporation, a vendor of enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) software products, and was president and CEO of Embark, a SaaS-based college recruitment and admissions software company. Earlier in his career, he was vice president of sales at Symantec and also held senior management positions at Apple and Xerox.

Dunkelberger has a B.A. in Political Science from Westmont College.
